Scaena Cura was founded by Faizal Jaye, a professional whose career spans both performance environments and structured, high-responsibility sectors.

With experience in theatre, film, and creative production, Faizal has worked within environments that demand emotional depth, resilience, and sustained performance under pressure. Alongside this, his professional background includes roles within public service and organisational settings where safeguarding, wellbeing, and structured support systems are essential, not optional.

This dual perspective has provided a unique understanding of both the creative and operational realities of performance industries and the gap that exists between them.

Throughout his career, Faizal has been involved in delivering and supporting projects that require clear governance, stakeholder management, and adherence to professional standards. As well as working on a clinical level working with patients /clients in therapeutic environments within the NHS / private practice. This experience underpins the approach taken at Scaena Cura: one that combines clinical credibility with a practical understanding of how productions operate.

Scaena Cura was created to bring structure, consistency, and professionalism to the provision of therapeutic support within performance environments ensuring that productions are equipped not only to create powerful work, but to do so responsibly.
